ATO Tax Calendar 2026

Plan monthly BAS due dates, quarterly BAS lodgment, PAYG instalments and super guarantee deadlines in one Australian tax calendar.

Use this 2026 ATO tax calendar to check common due dates for monthly and quarterly BAS, PAYG instalments and super guarantee deadlines. Choose a business type, jump to the month you are planning, and review the activity statement, tax return and super reminders that apply.

  • Monthly BAS due dates for larger businesses that lodge activity statements each month.
  • Quarterly BAS lodgment reminders for paper and electronic activity statement schedules.
  • PAYG instalments and super guarantee deadlines for cash-flow planning before ATO due dates.

Due dates can move when they fall on a weekend or public holiday, and tax-agent lodgment programs can change your final deadline. Treat this as a planning calendar and confirm your exact obligation in ATO Online Services or with your tax adviser.

About BAS Lodgment

Monthly lodgment

You must lodge monthly if your GST turnover is $20 million or more. The due date is the 21st day of the following month.

Quarterly lodgment

For quarterly lodgment, the due dates are:

  • Quarter 1 (July–September) – 28 October (paper) or 25 November (electronic)
  • Quarter 2 (October–December) – 28 February (paper) or 25 February (electronic)
  • Quarter 3 (January–March) – 28 April (paper) or 26 May (electronic)
  • Quarter 4 (April–June) – 28 July (paper) or 25 August (electronic)

Electronic lodgment

If you lodge your activity statements electronically, you generally have an extra month to lodge and pay except for quarter 2.

Note: If a due date falls on a weekend or public holiday, you can lodge or pay on the next business day.
